Lewis Hamilton's on fire!!!!

Though i was never an Lewis Hamilton fan and i would say i still ain't but there is something about this driver that litrally seperates him from the rest,Lewis Hamilton has got an very intollerable thirst to get that drivers championship.This thirst maybe became more stronger after thechampionship trophy slipped from his hands just by 1 point in 2007!!

Well you may feel reading through my post that what am saying about Lewis Hamilton isn't something new! or we always knew about it! but i being an kimi fan hadly paid attention to this guys driving and determination and hardly appreciated it.

Hamilton at monza was an ferocious lion,who wanted to get the best possible position he could get and i wont be wrong if i would say while sitting in the cockpit of that McLaren MP4-23 he was thinking"I gotta win this race today,if not that atleast i want to be in the podium and i know i can do it",he drove like an knight from the start,he never missed an opportunity to overtake someone and never did gave someone an opportunity to overtake him,once he overtook kimi on lap8 there was no stopping him after that,he was just flying and going on on it,he was like come what may i wont be wasting my time in the midfield i gotta get out of here into the top,and he never wasted time behind any one who came on his way.

His overtaking maneovere on Kimi,Glock and Mark webber being the highlight of the race.He pushed Timo glock almost out into the grass showing no mercy and then he pulled another ruthless manevere on Mark Webber, Mark Webber and he both almost had an contact then he also sent him out of the track and when he joined back ahead of him he wasted no time in overtaking him back again.

But during the closing stages of the race,there wasnt rain as expected and though most of the drivers were on intermediate tires,Hamilton who pitted only 1's had to stay on with the extreme wet weather tires,decreasing his pace and limiting him to 7th position.

Rules Clarified in the driver briefing:About cutting an coner.

The FIA have clarified the rule that has sparked controversy this week, following Lewis Hamilton's corner-cutting manoeuvre in last Sunday's Belgian Grand Prix.

In a drivers' briefing at Monza ahead of Sunday's Italian Grand Prix, race director Charlie Whiting cleared up the confusion.

If a driver now cuts a corner or chicane and gains a place, he not only has to give the position back, but also wait a corner before attempting a subsequent overtaking move.

The debate has raged over the past few days after Hamilton cut the final chicane at Spa, passing Ferrari's Kimi Raikkonen to gain the lead in the process.

Although the McLaren driver immediately allowed the reigning world champion to pass along the start-finish straight, he then overtook the Finn at the next turn, the La Source hairpin.

Hamilton went on to win the race, but was subsequently demoted to third two hours after the race after a three-man panel of stewards handed out a retrospective 25-second drive-through penalty.

Speaking on the clarification, Red Bull Racing driver Mark Webber said: "It is pretty clear for people to probably not attack immediately again, which wasn't mega, mega clear in the past."

Kimi Raikkonen Renews His Ferrari contract: Will Race With Ferrari till 2010 end

Ferrari have extended world champion Kimi Raikkonen's contract to the end of the 2010 season, ending speculation about the Finn's future at the team.

Raikkonen's deal had been due to end at the end of 2009, and there had been reports that Fernando Alonso was set to replace him either then or next year.

But Ferrari said in a statement on Friday that their line-up would remain unchanged for the next two seasons.

Raikkonen's team-mate Felipe Massa also has a contract until 2010.

Raikkonen has produced a string of unconvincing performances this season, when he has often looked a shadow of the man who made a spectacular late charge to win his first drivers' title last season.

The 28-year-old, who is the highest-paid driver in F1, has often been overshadowed by Massa this season and lies third in the championship, 17 points behind the Brazilian and 19 behind McLaren's Lewis Hamilton, heading into Sunday's Italian Grand Prix.

Raikkonen has so far indicated his reluctance to help Massa's title bid while he still has a mathematical chance of winning the championship himself.

It remains to be seen whether his new deal will have any effect on that approach.

So lacklustre have some of his performances been that there had even been claims that he might leave the team at the end of this season, freeing up a space for Alonso.

The Spanish double world champion is known to be a favourite of Ferrari president Luca di Montezemolo and is keen to drive for Ferrari in the future.

Alonso has an option to get out of his two-year Renault contract at the end of this season if he wishes and is being courted by the struggling Honda team, as well as BMW Sauber.

He remains the key to this season's driver market, but his options for the future have narrowed considerably now he knows that there will likely be no seat at Ferrari available until at least 2011.
